DESCRIPTION

Refurbishment of a dwelling in the Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona. The layout was completely redone to give the house a new, warmer and more organic atmosphere.

The project decisions were aimed at opening up the kitchen to the dining room, so that space and light would flow freely through the house, while using natural wood to visually separate the entrance from the dining room and the kitchen. This separation contrasts with a cornice like a sinuous band that runs through the entire house and also serves to illuminate the daytime area.
