DESCRIPTION

Refurbishment of an old livestock farm into a single-family ground-floor dwelling. The proposal proposes to open up a series of courtyards to gain light inside and distribute a domestic programme.

The existing building was completely emptied, leaving the prefabricated reinforced concrete trusses exposed. The project assumes the power of this structure and uses this motif to give character to the interior, which has an industrial and open appearance. The large size of the trusses is used to generate mezzanines that allow the dwelling to be enjoyed on different levels.
